We have busy lives, we constantly multi task and sometimes we become lost in our efforts to juggle work, family, finances, so it is extremely easy to lose awareness of the present moment . We are easely distracted or worried about details, usually examining past events and trying to anticipate the future so we fail to notice the good things about each moment of our lives, fail to hear what our bodies are telling us, or keep on poisoning ourselves with toxic self critism: We are often “not present” in our own lives.
Mindfulness & Meditation are different ways of paying attention to, and seeing clearly, whatever is happening in our lives. Mindfulness help us respond to life’s pressures or worries or anxiety in a calmer manner that benefits our heart, body and mind. It helps us recognise and step away from habitual emotional and physiological reactions to everyday events, providing us with clarity, insight, and understanding. Practicing mindfulness allows us to be fully present in life, improving our quality of life and change our state of mind.
